Standard and specialist geotechnical soil testing including triaxial, consolidation, shear-box, ring-shear, shrinkage-limit, swelling-pressure, swelling-strain, soil-suction and index tests; geophysical-property testing including core resistivity and moisture/resistivity relationships; rock strength, deformation and classification testing for core samples.
Equipment
GDS stress-path triaxial testing for 50–100 mm specimens; consolidation stresses to 3.0 MPa; rock-mechanics testing for 28, 50 and 100 mm core samples; bespoke and standard soil/geophysical test apparatus.
