Services
Customer-facing ANSTI life-support equipment testing at the surface and immersed in temperature-controlled water; dynamic breathing performance, work of breathing, valve effort, exhaust resistance, hydrostatic imbalance, oxygen uptake/carbon-dioxide injection and real-time gas analysis. JFD also reports customer altitude trials in a chamber converted for hypobaric testing, plus hydrostatic pressure tests of subsea cables and a submarine hull.

ANSTI life-support test facility; test depth to 500 metres seawater, deeper tests by arrangement; 1000 mm ID wet/dry test vessel with vertical and horizontal orientations; NHC hypobaric trial reported to 3000 m altitude; 100-bar chamber used for subsea-cable testing.
Standards
LRQA ISO 9001:2015 site schedule covers provision of hyperbaric testing of equipment at NHC. Operator states testing aligned to EN 250:2014, EN 14143:2013 and EN 15333-1:2008; does not claim test-lab accreditation.
