Spacecraft and instrument assembly, integration and validation; thermal-vacuum and thermal-balance testing; vibration and shock testing; cleanroom-supported AIV; test-specification, fixture and test-programme support.
Equipment
67 kN three-axis vibration facility: up to 140 g, 1.78 m/s, 63 mm peak-to-peak, payload including moving mass up to 700 kg; 64 channels standard expandable to 128; 1-tonne crane and 3.5 m x 3.5 m access doors. RAL 3 m TVAC chamber: 3 m diameter x 5.5 m length, -180°C to +100°C, vacuum rating 10^-7 mbar payload/temperature dependent, ISO 5/6 cleanroom support. RAL cleanrooms operated to ISO 14644.
